Christmas Day was pretty low key this year with only three of the seven kids home. They all slept in until 9:30am including Rick. After the opening of presents adventure was over Heather and Nicole decided to go on a hike to "Inspiration Point" in Santa Barbara. Nicole insisted that it was an easy hike and would take about 30 mins up the hill. WELL, three hours later, sore feet, tired muscles, dry lips, and hungry stomaches we returned home. The hike was hard, we weren't prepared with chapstick, food or cell phones. Only water. Nicole and Heather still insist it wasn't THAT hard of a hike but they forget we parents are 30+ years older. Oh, not to mention that I(Trudy) had already gone on a three mile walk while they all slept in. The view was awesome which the pictures don't really capture. The weather was incredible with a warm 75 degree breeze and sunny skies. What a wonderful Christmas day gift. We are blessed.

Great Christmas hike...can you post some pics of Rae Rae and Farrah's belly?? Everytime I tell Cam to be nice, she says, "no bite Rae Rae.'" So classic!
