Today was a rainy day so we decided to go to the local museum. Misawa is famous for having two American men successfully fly from Misawa to Wenatchee,Washington south of Seattle in the first trans Pacific flight in 1931. The flight took a little over 41 hours. They took off from a beach that packed with sand and clay as a runway. The museum had a lot of fun simulations of flight and space. We didn't take too many pictures though we were having too much fun.
